We're just a couple of guys who have a lifelong interest in Landmark books. We find the many formats, variations, and complex history of this beloved young reader's series endlessly fascinating. In order to broadly share what we've learned about Landmark books, we've authored two guides that combine everything we've discovered into handy references. You can find these in both eBook and Print On Demand formats on Amazon. The first reference is: A Collector's Guide and Checklist to American Landmark Books. The companion volume is A Collector's Guide and Checklist to World Landmark Books. Included in these titles are descriptions of the various formats, rarity evaluations on a title by title basis, price recommendations, information about the many derivative Landmark products (games, records, filmstrips), coverage of things like author's letters, bookplates, and changes in design and construction. Serious collectors and beginners will benefit from the information in these Guides.
